Postgraduate Certificate in Information Technology 

I am interested in leveraging technology to improve the way we do business, so when I received a scholarship from my employer, Foodstuffs North Island, I decided to pursue a qualification that would equip me with the technical skills to deliver innovation. By completing the Postgraduate Certificate in Information Technology I wanted to be able to lead the delivery of technology-centric projects that would make a significant difference to the business.

The best thing about the PGCert is that it is current, practical and well-executed. A week after completing the Programming for Web Technology course, I was able to code, commit and deploy an enhancement to our web app. I can now talk confidently with our developers and architects as I am speaking the same language.

A highlight since completing my studies has been receiving a thank you note for driving innovation in the ways we work across our department and with suppliers. It felt like a confirmation of my long-term career goal of being an innovator.
